Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will assume responsibility for the day to day operations of Diurnal’s commercial Supply Chain for supply of its lead products: Chronocort® and Alkindi®, working closely with all functions and third-party commercial suppliers; ensuring that supply chain plans and activities are aligned with Diurnal’s inventory requirements.

Supply Chain Responsibilities
• Liaising with internal functions and managing the day to day operation of third-party vendors, working closely with the Head of Supply Chain
• Maintenance of Product Serialisation, including making the status changes within the database.
• Monitoring, reconciling and reporting inventory stock levels in conjunction with third party vendors. Undertaking site visits as appropriate to ensure vendors are delivering in line with company requirements.
• Review, approve and track supplier invoices, ensuring adherence to budget. Assist Finance with reporting procedures and costing of stock.
• Execute PO (Workorders) with the manufacturer and packaging vendors. Maintaining master project plans where applicable
• Working with the Head of Supply Chain to maintain the compliance and availability of Diurnal’s marketed products to ensure continuity of supply.
• Manage the Patient Access Programme
• Execute and track commercial shipments working closely with the Diurnal approved distributor.

Compliance Responsibilities
• Adhere to Diurnal’s quality assurance system and compliance with the relevant SOPs, as well as support investigations and execution of actions as detailed within Complaints, Deviations, Change Controls, CAPAs and audit findings as applicable. Assist with drafting and/or revision of SOPs to meet evolving business requirements and current quality standards.
• In conjunction with the Head of Supply Chain support the annual vendor compliance checks for vendors.
• Maintain regular training in GMP/GDP and knowledge of the commercial environment for self and for development of the Diurnal Supply Chain
• To comply with such instructions in connection with the business of the Company as senior management or the CEO may determine from time to time.

General Responsibilities
• Providing support and cover in the absence of the Head of Supply Chain
• To promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job.
• Actively participate in Diurnal’s NPI Meeting, supporting the Head of Supply Chain and contribute to the development / growth of the supply chain team.

Requisite Skills, Experience and/or Qualifications 
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years prior experience in the packaging, distribution and supply of medicinal products including GMP and GDP experience.
• Life Sciences degree preferred, but not essential. 
• Experience of working with CMOs (manufacturing, packaging and distribution).

The Supply Chain Manger will require:
• Highly organised, able to work on own initiative, with excellent attention to detail, able to produce high quality work to agreed deadlines. 
• Desirable skills include: Ability to guide and influence colleagues working in a virtual environment, analytical thinking and ability to work on own initiative.
• Experienced in IT applications and business software. 
• Excellent organisational, detail, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and to be self-motivated and innovative.
